Invitation Letter | US and European Sanctions Against Russia Continuously Increase, How Chinese Enterprises Cope with Foreign Risks in the Russia Ukraine Situation [Going Global Think Tank]

Go out to think tanks and observe

Currently, as the situation in Russia and Ukraine continues to deteriorate, the United States, Europe, and allies are continuously increasing their sanctions against Russia. Recently, White House spokesperson Pushaki even stated that if China does not participate in sanctions against Russia, the United States will take retaliatory measures. This poses significant risks to Chinese companies involved in Russian related businesses.

On March 18th, the Dow Jones Risk and Compliance and Going Global Think Tank (CGGT) jointly held an online seminar on "How Chinese Enterprises Respond to Foreign Risks in the Russia Ukraine Situation". The keynote speeches were given by Jia Shen, a consultant at Zhonglun Law Firm, and Ma Jianxin, the China Director of Dow Jones Risk and Compliance, to explore how Chinese enterprises can avoid the risks of US and European sanctions. The topics of this seminar include:

Analysis of the sanctions situation in Russia

● Export control and economic sanctions related systems in the United States

● Response strategies for controlling compliance risks with US sanctions from a global perspective

● Corporate compliance measures, including risk attention, compliance judgment, and establishment of compliance systems

How can compliance technology achieve effective compliance management?
