sevenOpen the downloaded template and select the Template tab.

The content inside is all that you need to fill in.

The preliminary preparation work has come to an end, and now we will explain how to fill out the form.

The filling method of a table is usually to fill in the parent body in the first row, and to start filling in each child body in the second row.

oneProduct Type: There is no need to enter content in this box. When you hover the mouse over a blank box, an option triangle will appear. Simply select and fill in. The filling method for parents and children is the same.

twoSeller SKU: Since the parent entity is a new listing (actually virtual), it is necessary to create a new SKU for the parent entity. It is important to note that you need to create a new SKU that is familiar to you and meets your naming conventions, as you will need to use it later. The descendant part is filled with the original SKU of each descendant to be merged together.

threeBrand Name: Both the parent and child entities are consistent, and the brand for which the child entity is listed should be filled in. Note that it is best not to merge listing subsidiaries of a brand, as this may result in a series of consequences such as being banned.

fourProduct ID: This refers to the UPC, EAN, or GCID number used when creating a new descendant listing. Please fill in whichever one you use. The parent body does not need to be filled in. Just fill in the descendants.

fiveProduct ID Type: There is a drop-down box for selecting one of UPC, EAN, GCID, or GTIN. Parent body does not need to be filled in.

sixProduct Name: Parent body can be left blank, while child bodies can be filled with their respective titles.

sevenManufacturer: The manufacturer, parent and descendant should be consistent, and the manufacturer name filled in when creating the descendant listing should be filled in.

eightManufacturer Part Number: can be temporarily ignored and left blank.

nineCategory (item type): There is a dropdown box, simply click on the dropdown box. The parent and child are the same.

tenParentage: There is a drop-down box, where the parent in the first row is selected as parent, and the descendants in the following rows are selected as child.

elevenParent SKU: Here we need to use the parent SKU we wrote in the second step. The descendant part should be filled in with the parent SKU written in the second step, and the parent part does not need to be filled in.

twelveRelationship Type: There is a dropdown box, and usually you choose 'Variation' unless your variant is' Accessory '. Parent body is not filled in, only child body is filled in.

thirteenObservation Theme: There is a dropdown box with options such as color, size, material, etc. Generally, size and color are the main options. The parent and child remain consistent.

fourteenUpdate Delete: There is a drop-down box, where the parent body is filled in as Update because it did not exist before, and the child body is filled in as Partial Update because it already existed before.

fifteenThere is also the final part, which is Size name or color name, which is chosen based on your own variant type.

The main elements for merging here have been filled out, and many merchants will ask, do you not need to fill in other contents? Yes, in the matter of merger, whether other factors are filled in or not will not have any impact.

After completing the form, upload it at the upload table in the backend. If the prompt is successful, then after a few minutes, your listings will be successfully merged together. If there is an error prompt, there will be a corresponding prompt report. After modifying the report, upload it again until it is successful.
