The nickel cold steel ( 1.2767 ) has a high strength, good hardenability and high impact strength and compressive strength . Working hardness 52-55 HRC . Well polishable and erodible. The tool steel 1.2767 is suitable for the following applications : cutlery dies , embossing dies , solid embossing matrixes (shims) and stamps, bending tools, pressure pads on press brakes, shear blades for thick sliced, plastic molds, reinforcements. This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
