A pipeline pump is a type of single-suction single-stage or multi-stage centrifugal pump. It has a vertical structure. It is named a pipeline pump (also known as a booster pump) because its inlet and outlet are in the same line, and the inlet and outlet are of the same caliber, similar to a section of pipe and can be installed anywhere in the pipeline. Structural characteristics: It is a single-suction single-stage centrifugal pump. The inlet and outlet are the same and are in the same straight line, orthogonal to the center line of the shaft, and is a vertical pump.

Key points of use:

1. Test run work: check whether the connectors are loose; use the hand drive the coupling to rotate the rotor a few times to see if the unit rotates flexibly, whether there are any sounds and uneven weight, to determine whether there are foreign objects in the pump or whether the shaft is bent, the seals are not properly installed, etc.; check whether the clean No. 20 lubricant in the sealing chamber fills 1/2 chamber space; whether the surface of the pump unit is clean; whether the surface of the pump set is clean; test whether the unit steers to an empty load test.

2. Manual start: Fill the pump (first time), open the outlet valve slightly, start the motor, increase the pressure, and confirm that when the pump is running smoothly, gradually open the outlet valve until the operating conditions are required.

3. Operation inspection: When the pipeline pump is operating normally at the operating frequency, it should regularly check and record the readings of its pump set ampermeter, voltmeter, inlet and outlet vacuum gauge, pressure gauge, flow meter, etc., whether the vibration, noise, temperature rise, etc. of the unit is normal, and there should be no obvious aviation fuel leak at the shaft seal.

4. Normal parking: Close the discharge valve, lighten the pump load, and stop the motor.

Emergency parking conditions:

⑴ The operating ammeter of the pump motor indicates an abnormality (too large or too few); the pump system makes an abnormal noise.

⑵ The pump inlet vacuum pressure gauge and outlet pressure gauge indicate abnormalities. The pump body vibrates greatly and makes abnormal noises, and performance deteriorates seriously.

⑶ The pump motor produces odors, aviation fuel leaks out of the shaft seal, the bearing temperature exceeds 75 degrees, etc.
