(1) Determine the installation location: VOLE products are small in size and easy to install. It can be installed in the power distribution box (cabinet) or on the wall (or embedded in the wall). When installing on a wall accessible to personnel, a mounting box should be provided. The installation position is selected based on the short and convenient wiring. Determine the protected circuit: See the figure below for the installation wiring. It is recommended to open the circuit in series for easy maintenance (20A).
(2) Fixing: Fix the surge protector through the fixing holes at the four corners of the surge protector.
(3) Power failure wiring: Connect the surge protector's wiring in the case of power failure, and connect the phase, neutral and ground wires respectively. Multi-stranded copper conductors of 6mm² to 25mm² are used for connection wires (10 mm² is recommended). The length of the connecting line should not exceed 1 meter. Live wiring is strictly prohibited.
(4) Check after wiring: Check whether the wiring is correct and firm, and measure whether the insulation is normal with a multimeter.
(5) Restore power supply: restore the power supply after checking.
(6) Check the working condition of the surge protector: After the power is restored, check whether the surge protector is working normally, such as whether the indicator light is normal, whether there is heat, odor and so on.
(7) Clean up the site: After everything is normal, clean up the site and complete the installation. When necessary, mark "lightning protection" on the line.
