Calcium silicon is an ideal compound deoxidizer and desulfurizer. Silicon alloy not only has strong deoxidizing capacity, deoxidizing products are easy to float and discharge, but also can improve the properties of steel, improve its plasticity, impact toughness and fluidity.

In the production of cast iron, silicon calcium alloy not only deoxidizes and purifies, but also plays an inoculating role, which is helpful to form fine or globular graphite. The graphite distribution in gray cast iron is uniform and the white tendency is reduced. And can increase silicon, desulfurization, improve the quality of cast iron.

Calcium Silicon powder is mainly used in the production of cored wire.
the content of oxygen and sulfur in steel is reduced to very low by desulphurization and desulphurization with Calcium Silicon powder or core wire.
