Friction bolt (Split sets)
Friction bolt (Split sets) is roll-formed into a C shape bolt with a slot by high tensile steel band, which one end is tapered for easily inserting bolt into the drilling hole. The other end is welded a ring to hold the bearing plate.
Functions
Friction bolt (Split sets) is a frictional ground support system. When friction bolt is inserted into the drilling hole with smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radical forces on the rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.
