Installation, use, and precautions for GV submersible sewage pump:

1. Submersible electric pumps must be selected within the recommended head range according to actual needs to prevent overload operation and damage to the motor. When selecting the head of the electric pump, the loss of pipeline and elbow should be considered. Generally, every 10 meters of horizontal pipeline loses 1 meter of head, and every elbow loses 1 meter of head.
When installing an electric pump in a river pond, it should be placed vertically in a bamboo basket or other net basket to prevent debris such as grass from entering and blocking the impeller. A tripod can be used for lifting with the help of cranes, bridges, docks, etc. Do not directly place it at the bottom of the river, otherwise the motor will gradually sink into the mud, causing poor heat dissipation, excessive temperature rise, and burning out of the motor.
3. The submersible depth of the electric pump should be 0.5 to 5 meters below the dynamic water level. If the depth is too shallow, it is easy for the water level to drop and cause poor water output, and even dry operation can burn out the motor. However, strong cooling engineering or built-in structures allow the motor to be partially exposed.
4. The use of an electric pump must have an appropriate power capacity. The power supply should not be too far from the location where the electric pump is used. The specifications of the additional cable lines should be appropriately thickened according to the distance, and the joints should be sealed with waterproof insulation tape to ensure insulation and overhead. If necessary, please ask a professional electrician to measure whether the operating voltage of the electric pump is within ± 10% of the rated voltage range, to avoid excessive cable length and voltage drop, which may cause the electric pump to run under and burn the motor.
5. Electric pumps should be equipped with appropriate protective switches separately. When the switch trips frequently, it is not allowed to start it forcefully. It is necessary to check whether the electric pump has malfunctioned, otherwise it is easy to burn out the tripping coil inside the starter. 7. After the electric pump is started, if there is little or no water output, it may indicate that the impeller is reversed, and the power must be cut off. Any two phases of the three-phase line must be adjusted relative to each other before restarting. If there is no water flow during the working process, it may indicate that the impeller is blocked or stuck. The power supply must be immediately cut off and the blockage must be cleaned before use, otherwise the motor may burn.
8. When placing or lifting the electric pump out of the water, it is necessary to use a steel wire rope to lift the lifting ring of the electric pump up and down, and it is not allowed to pull the cable randomly. When the electric pump is running, the cable should be kept overhead to avoid damage caused by heavy objects on the ground and accidents.
9. When using hoses, the electric pump should also be fixed to prevent rotation failure during startup.
10. The electric pump must be supervised by a dedicated person during use. Prevent phenomena such as phase loss and water level drop leading to dry operation. When there is a sudden decrease in water volume, abnormal sound, intense shaking, and other situations, the power should be immediately cut off. Only after identifying the cause and troubleshooting can it continue to be used.
Maintenance and upkeep of GV submersible sewage pump:

If the electric pump is stopped for a long time, it should be run in clean water for a few minutes and cleaned. The pipes and joints should be removed, and the accumulated water in the pump body should be drained. It should be properly stored in a ventilated and dry place.
Lithium based lubricating grease needs to be replaced in the bearing chamber every 2000 hours of operation. Regularly pay attention to cleaning the inlet and outlet water holes to prevent blockage and damage to the filter screen. Attention should be paid during transportation and installation to prevent cracking of the motor casing and pump casing, and to prevent damage to the cables.
