Suitable for medium and large size moulds, injection moulds, extrusion dies, press brake dioes, aluminium die casting, forming tools, home equipment and other large daily goods e.g. containers etc. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES: As normally delivered in the hardened and tempered state, hardness is normally 32HRC. No hardening risks, no heat treatment, no distortion to tools. Can be further nitrided or flame hardened, locally. Heavier sections can be supplied premachined saving on weight and less machining. Thus, the machined workpiece has a homogeneous structure even at the edge, which does not change in the continuation of the material. This circumstance allows immediate finishing of the workpiece with milling or drilling . So it is not necessary to anneal the material or make a similar operation beforehand.
