Coalescence filter element is made of a variety of composite materials by special process, with hydrophilic characteristics, it can not only filter the mechanical impurities in the medium, but also through demulsification, coalescence, so that the emulsified water separated from the medium, and coalescence into larger water droplets, in order to further realize the purification of the medium of the filter element. Coalescing separator is also called oil-water separator, which is mainly designed to remove the water contained in the oil. The separator contains two kinds of filter elements, namely, coalescing filter element and separating filter element.
The coalescence filter element mainly selects the glass fiber or polyester fiber after surface treatment as the coalescence medium. The structure of the filter material is specially designed to make the filter medium have good coalescence performance. The filtration accuracy can reach 0.1μm.
Working principle of coalesce filter element: In the oil water removal system, the oil into the coalesce separator, the first flow through the coalesce filter element, coalesce filter element to filter out solid impurities, and the very small water droplets coalesce into larger water droplets. Most of the coalesced water droplets can be separated from the oil by its own weight and settled into the lower tank. The filtered oil in the upper part enters the separation dehydration filter element from the outside in. The material of the separation filter element has the characteristics of hydrophobic and oil-philic, so the oil can pass through smoothly, while the free water is kept out of the filter element and gathers in the bottom sedimentation tank and is discharged through the discharge valve. So as to achieve the effect of oil and water separation.
Product Use:
1. Coalescing separation filter element can be used for oil and water separation of aviation fuel, gasoline, kerosene and diesel;
2, liquefied petroleum gas, stone tar, benzene, toluene, xylene, isopropylbenzene, polypropylbenzene and other water removal can use coalesce separation filter element;
3, steam turbine oil and other low viscosity hydraulic oil, lubricating oil can be used to remove water in the coalescent separation filter element;
4, cycloethane, isopropyl alcohol, cycloethanol, cycloethyl ketone and other liquids can be purified using the coalescing separation filter element;
5, other hydrocarbons can be purified using coalescing separation filter element.
In practice, the coalescing filter element and the separating filter element need to be used together, and the larger the number ratio of coalescing filter element and the separating filter element, the better the separation effect.
